gallery kankōは、修善寺温泉場の入口にある、見ることを楽しむためのギャラリー＆ショップです。
ギャラリーでは伊豆半島の作家を中心に、作品や展示をさまざまな視点から読み解く企画展を開催しています。
ショップでは、作家作品をはじめ、アート・クラフト・書籍・古道具・食品などを取り揃えています。
観光は、普段出会わないものに出会うこと。
旅先では、ふとしたきっかけで思いがけない場所に立ち寄ることがあります。
細道 航
1988年静岡県静岡市生まれ。多摩美術大学大学院芸術学専攻修了。同大学芸術学科研究室での勤務を経て、2025年より伊豆市修善寺にgallery kankōをオープン。
これまで、現代美術を中心とした展覧会の企画・編集・執筆・設営に携わり、大学での展覧会の制作補助や、地域での展覧会の企画・編集、ワークショップやイベントの運営などに取り組んできた。
現在はgallery kankōを拠点に、地域における展覧会のあり方や、作品や展示が人にどう届くのかということに関心を持ちながら活動している。
gallery kankō is a gallery and shop at the entrance to Shuzenji Onsen, dedicated to the pleasure of looking.
The gallery holds exhibitions centered on artists from the Izu Peninsula, looking closely at their work and its display from a range of perspectives.

Wataru Hosomichi
Born in Shizuoka City in 1988. After graduate studies in art theory at Tama Art University and a few years working there, he opened gallery kankō in Shuzenji, Izu, in 2025.
He has long worked on contemporary art exhibitions — planning, editing, writing, and installing them — and has helped run workshops, events, and exhibitions both at the university and in local communities.
He now runs gallery kankō, curating exhibitions and thinking about how they can take root in a region, and how art can reach people who wouldn’t otherwise seek it out.
